To meet rising global demand for agricultural ground covers, we have completed a major upgrade to our manufacturing facility. The company recently commissioned three new needle-punch nonwoven lines supplied by a leading German engineering firm, boosting total production capacity by 40% and improving product consistency.
The new equipment enables finer control over fiber orientation and needle density, resulting in weed mats with uniform thickness (±0.1mm) and higher tensile strength (≥12 kN/m in the machine direction). Automated online quality inspection systems now monitor basis weight, porosity, and UV additive distribution in real time.
“In the past, some clients worried about thickness variations affecting water drainage,” explained our operations director. “With these German lines, every square meter meets the same high standard. We can now produce over 150,000 square meters per day without compromising quality.”
The upgrade also reduces energy consumption per unit by 15%, thanks to servo-driven motors and optimized heat-setting ovens. We are committed to passing these efficiency gains onto customers through stable pricing and shorter lead times – standard orders now ship in 10–14 days.
